Events for the 2016 Season

Village Opens for the Summer Friday May 20, 2016 Weekdays & Saturday 11:00-6:30 Sundays and Holidays 12:00-5:00

Grand Opening Pancake Breakfast and Auto Show: May 28, 2016

Friday Teas: June 3 to August 26 2:00-4:00 pm $5.00/person

Volunteer Appreciation Tea August 26 Hosted by the Innisfail & District Historical Society to thank our hosts & volunteers for the 2016 season

Canada:Day July 1 Noon to 5:30 - With food, fun & festivities for all ages. Donations accepted

Drama Classes - July 25-28 This Class will run from 12:30 to 5 Monday to Thursday. Cost is $90 for the week. Norma Hoppins, past drama teacher, will be the instructor.

Photography, Aug 8,10,15 & 17. Pottery July 5 & 19 - August 2 & 16 Painting July 6 & 20 August 3 & 17, Rope tying, lashing & geocaching class times and rates to be announced.

Tuesdays in July will be Curator's Club and Thursdays will be Crafts and Games.

Progressive Dinner - Aug 26 4:30 - 9:00 pm Meet at the Village to load the Community Bus and travel to The Jungle for a great appetizer, then travel to the Danish Canadian Museum for the delicious main course, then travel to the Historical Village for a really nice seasonal Dessert. Tickets just $50 and limited to 50 people.

Last Day Open: September 5, 2016 Village closes for the season at 5 p.m Office is open until Sept. 16, with a few events happening after that day.

Fall Festival and Art Walk: September 10, 2016. View the work and speak with local artisans 2-5pm and enjoy a delicious Harvest Dinner, 5-6 pm. Raffle draw to take place during dinner. Tickets can be purchased at the Village for just $10.00 Children under 6 free

October 21 & 22 "Halloween at The Village" Halloween Party, 6 - 8 pm. Lots of spooky fun and entertainment. Witches, Crafts, Kid Friendly Zone, and much more! Call the Village for tickets at 403-227-2906. Tickets are available at the gate. $5.00/Adults, $3.00/child, $15.00/family.
